Standard ground shipping uses our choice of the US Postal Service, UPS ground, or FedEx ground.   Standard shipping does NOT include any package tracking information. 

Expedited air shipping uses either  US Postal Service Express Mail, UPS 2-day air, FedEx economy 2 day, or DHL 2 day air express methods of shipment. Please let us know in the customer comments box on the final checkout page if you need a tracking number. 

Please be advised that certain products (usually products with item numbers beginning with the letter "v") take an extra day in our system to process before they are shipped, regardless of shipping method chosen.  These 'v' items can take up to a week longer before shipping for APO/FPO customers. In addition, these 'v' items are NOT available to be shipped internationally.

With all orders, we send a confirmation email when the order is placed. You will not receive any additional emails from us unless there is a problem in shipping your order. For items shipped via UPS (many larger orders and all Expedited orders) a confirmation email with the tracking number is sent from the UPS Quantumview service.

If you have a special need (either next day or a special carrier) please denote that special instructions are being sent via email in the "customer comments" field on the final page of the checkout procedure.  Once checked out, please send an email with your special requirements IMMEDIATELY to . There are instances where orders (especially those with expedited shipping) are processed within minutes of your placing the order.  We will try our best to accommodate special requests, but we cannot always do so.  If your special request is a requirement of the order, please denote that, so that if we cannot satisfy your request, we can let you know and either cancel your order or handle it appropriately.  We want you to be happy, but at the same time there are certain constraints in our system that cannot be bypassed-- and these are dependent on what you are ordering.

APO - FPO Military customers:
APO and FPO shipping addresses are considered part of the United States and are shipped via the STANDARD GROUND shipping mode only. Expedited air service is not available to APO/FPO customers. Please allow extra time for your APO/FPO order to arrive, as the normal delivery time of 5-14 days does not take into account the time your package will spend transiting the military postal system.  

INTERNATIONAL and CANADIAN customers:
Most Canadian orders ship at the same rates as US for 'standard' ground service and are shipped out right away with our other US orders. Certain items cannot be shipped to Canada, or require an additional delay in shipping to Canada. In the event of a delay or special shipping rate to Canada we will email you to notify you of the issue and request your approval before continuing the order.

Every order that ships to an address outside the USA (and NOT Canada) is charged a shipping/handling charge that is computed individually for that order.   As soon as we receive an international order we pull the order and then determine the charges based on the size and weight of the parcel in relation to where it will be shipped.  We do NOT ship to all countries.   In general, we only ship an international order if the total for the items in the order is less than $100.00 US.   We have many items in our stores that we cannot ship internationally for various reasons.   Generally, if the item number begins with the letter 'v', it cannot be shipped internationally.
