The SOLITAIRE SCREENSAVER

A "must have" for that paranoid workaholic that thinks everyone else is playing games on their computer!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Hit the Windows START button and then select RUN and type COMMAND in the box and hit OK.  This brings up a DOS command line box.
     
  • In the box that pops up, type the following text exactly as shown:

       copy c:\windows\sol.exe c:\windows\sol.scr
 

  • Close the DOS command box and then minimize any other running applications to get to the Windows Desktop.
     
  • Right click on a blank place on the Desktop and select PROPERTIES.
     
  • Select the SCREEN SAVER tab and then from the pull down listbox you can select SOL from the list and select an activation time and hit OK.

After performing the above steps, whenever the users screen saver would normally appear, the program SOLITAIRE will pop up instead and present on screen a nice card game ready to play. 

This will surely convince those passing by that "Mister All-Work / No-Play" is not quite as busy as he lets on.
