The 1985 IROC Z28 Camaro -- painted in 1998
Here are a couple of fresh photos of my latest set of wheels (well almost latest-- not counting the '79 GMC Van).
During the winter (of '97) I became the proud owner of this 85 IROC Z28 Camaro. It needed a paint job and some interior
work (it was stolen from the previous owner-- er, not by me-- it was recovered... but the
thieves did a hatchet job
to parts of the interior). I didn't paint it for entry in a car show, but to look presentable cruising down the streets
of Sun City West. These shots are before any decals/pin stripes were applied, and before it was "buffed out".
YES, I still have the 64 Thunderbird (and it's still on the road!). This summer
('98) I will be painting the Tbird the very
same "Ford M1 Metallic Blue" that the Camaro now sports. If I have paint left, I'll paint the old van!

Here is an underbody shot showing a piece of the floor pan. Arizona cars are great! This 13 year old vehicle had no
undercoating and absolutely not a speck of rust! The paint on the bottom was better than what was on the top when
I first saw the car! Amazing! The brown specks you see on the floor pan are smears of hardened Arizona dirt, splashed
on there when the thieves went through a puddle during their joyride.
I've got a bunch of additional photos of this fine car and I'll get them on here at some point.
