John and I get into quite a few projects.   Sadly, I don't have photos of all of them.  You can check out the construction photos of our Michigan house, or the photos of our project house nearby in Michigan.  We have little in the way of photos of our Arizona condo projects.   Here are a few snapshots from the smaller jobs.

See this pile of wood-- it doesn't just fall off the trees to get there.  This is one of many piles that we go through during our abbreviated winter stays in the north country.

Here I am with John and we're taking a break from chopping the wood.  Quite a break-- as this was taken in Ohio at our friend Keith's place.

Here I am next to the 1963 Jeep pickup that John got back from a friend he gave it to.  The friend bought a tractor and didn't need it to plow his (1/4 mile long) driveway any more.  It's now on the project list for next year or the year after.  John has plans to convert it to LP gas and make the thing useful around the property.

Part of the wood operation involves splitting the wood.  Here John shows one of the tools that helps make that happen.  Thanks to Matt Benjamin, a local friend, for loaning us the tool-- while it doesn't make "fast work" of the job, it makes it dooable.

Here's John with his friend Adriane from Long Island.  As usual, Home Depot isn't far away.
