This is my new wood-oil furnace. Greatest thing since sliced bread.
Put the logs in-- walk away. The oil burner starts the fire.
Thermostatically controlled wood (and oil) heat-- the only way to go!
It's called a "Yukon" and is made by Alpha American of
MN.
You can read about it (as I did) on their website at www.yukon-eagle.com
.
You could say that I bought it online... well, almost.
The workshop, comfortably at home with snow on the roof.
My Massey
Ferguson MF-135 tractor with loader bucket and 7' wide snowblower.
(note the 1979 GMC Van behind it.
There are few items more useful than the
two you see here... a farm tractor and a full sized van...)
From the top of the driveway you can get a pretty good impression of the scale of the new addition.
The furnace room door is on the left making it easy to load the wood-- or clean out the debris later on!
