Ducky Clock in the iTunes App Store

Ducky Clock in the Android Market

Welcome to the Ducky Clock iPhone/iPad/iPodTouch and Android OS Information page.

The Ducky Clock is designed to assist ducky lovers in learning to count and tell time.

The hours and minutes are shown in the usual numerical mode, but also as gaggled of rubber duckies that can be counted to tell the time.

The ducks, when they appear, announce themselves with quacks and a short animation.

At the top of the hour there is a 'Grandfather ducky' that counts out the hours in quacks.

The sounds can be disabled if silent operation is desired.

The application defaults to being sound-enabled and it also disables the sleep mode in the device while the clock is running (it does not affect normal sleep mode for other apps or when the clock is not running). If you wish the sleep mode to automatically shut the clock down, that can be enabled via the setup screen in the app (tap the 'gear' icon on the lower right of the screen).

The clock operates in landscape mode (wider than tall) only.

Ducky Clock for Apple devices will run on IOS versions 3.2 and newer, but looks best on an iPad.

Ducky Clock for Android devices will run on Android 2.2 and newer, and look best on the larger screens.

NOTE: The Android version requires the Adobe Air extension for Android in order to operate. If the Air extension is not already installed on your device, you will be prompted for an automatic installation of Adobe Air when you install the Ducky Clock.
